I was recording Ed and Gary’s acoustic duo at Big Dipper Studio in 2008. While mixing the tracks, I kept hearing bass lines in my head that I thought would go nicely with the guitars they had already recorded. I eventually approached them with the idea of adding a bass player (me) to their group. They generously accepted and we became Off The Record – based in Livermore, CA.
