The BeerGardeners

I knew Blake Beeman well when I lived around Tahoe City in the early 1980’s. We never played in the same bands, but we jammed and hung out. Many years after I left Tahoe and had lost touch with him, I received a call from Blake – totally out of the blue – “Loomis, you gotta come up to the lake and jam!” Well, that sounded pretty good to me and it was the day Blake introduced me to the BeerGardeners.

Blake has since gone on to that big jam in the sky, but his presence is felt every time we take the stage. Rock on, my brother.
